The Seminar introduces participants to the basics of technology transfer, its processes and tools, including methods and tools for protecting intellectual property and internal procedures at UP. It provides examples from practice and motivates effective management of intellectual property and its commercial application.
Educational objectives of the programme:
The aim of the seminar is to familiarize participants with the basic processes and tools of technology transfer, instill in participants the need to protect new technologies and technical solutions even before their publication in professional scientific journals, further acquaint participants with possible forms of patent protection, familiarize them with internal procedures in a university environment, and last but not least, to demonstrate practical examples.
